Avery Schafer

Avery Schafer, one of our truly outstanding seniors, is taking center stage! After 12 incredible years of hard-work and dedication to dance, Avery continues to shine brightly, captivating audiences with her powerful performances. Off the stage, she lights up every class with her incredible and super sweet personality. Avery has truly excelled in every style of dance she tackles... and is currently leading others as the captain of the Coppell Lariettes drill team. We can't wait to see her continue to soar!

What are some accomplishments (at dance, school, or anywhere) that you are most proud of?

I am the captain of the Coppell Lariettes drill team!

What is your favorite dance memory?

Knocking on teachers doors at nationals to spray them with water

What is your favorite style of dance, and what do you love about it?

Lyrical because it allows me to express my emotions

What is your favorite dance move?

A turning russian!

If you had a dance superpower, what would it be?

To never fall out of my seconds!

What are your favorite things to do when you are not dancing?

Hang out with friends or work out

Who is a dancer that you look up to and why?

Avery Parker because she was a beautiful dancer and a very hard worker.

What is your favorite dance joke or a fun fact about yourself?

I danced on two broken ankles for 6 months without knowing.
